I have several other alder chambered strats that have more of a traditional strat tone. I think the chambering makes them slightly darker than a solid body strat. With the Korina Strat I have, the mids are different. It also retains the darker nature of a chambered strat. I like it alot and feel it ...

I have a chambered black korina strat body from warmoth. It is different from the regular Fender wood recipe- to me it sounds more like mahogany. I have a Valverb and use it in a loop with a D-lator until I find something better. It is ok at best- the problem is that the controls seem poorly thought out.
