FWIW I put a TV Jones Classic in the neck of my thinline Tele. It butters my biscuit but I would not call it bold. More like luscious…. I am not a Gretsch guy so, dunno why I am chiming in. Quiet and well built.

FWIW, I built one of these as per the original layout and it is a favorite of mine. Especially with a telecaster. Sluckey's Dual Lite was on the short list with the iron that I had around. The Foxy 18 seems much more versatile than a Lite IIb - that notch control is a winner.

What IR from the set do you prefer? The 1 U67 paired with the 3 room tone is great, but haven't played it through decent FR yet, just a mono powered QSC my friend has.
