Re: Known Problems with the Site

Thanks, Phil and Dave. If not for you two, I probably would not have access to this site. If not for the members and the unique knowledge this site shares, I would likely not take the time to be here.
Know you are appreciated.
Peace,
Jim

Re: COVID, recessions, earthquakes...

Yep like is a B. More now than usual. I really shouldn't complain. No Earthquakes or fires here. Only Covid and a lot of dumb arise people. Most from our political parties (both/all parties) Seems like the politicians are only concerned with there own agenda. With the primary agenda being getting el...

Re: Just for a laugh

"So as far as facts go, it seems more likely to me that dumble preceded trainwreck no? Not that big of a deal, though, as mentioned above they're tonally very different amps, for different uses. I personally would qualify them both as great amp builders, on par with one another's knowledge and skill...

Just for a laugh

I was visiting another guitar/amp site. Someone posted the question if Trainwreck, (DLM) could be the next Dumble. No slight to Dumbles, they are great in their own right. But come on that's is like asking if Clapton could be the next John Mayer INMHO. Both great, but we know who was first. Please u...

Unused transformer taps?

Good afternoon all. I searched both TAG forum and google and didn't find any real information. I am wondering what to do with the unused power transformer secondary taps. I know I could cut them off and shrink wrap. How long should I leave them? Is there a better way to handle? other than the unsigh...

Re: Spacer under transformers?

Thanks Aaron,(Jim slaps head and says why didn't I think of that) I am using classic tone transformers, and they set really flat against the chassis, and I would like a little more clearance as several of the power board standoffs mount under them. I think I will follow your advice and use a steel n...
