Analog discovery 3, and the Audio analyzer test suite. I got the bundle with the probes. For the load I have a bnc connector with a 100w resistor and a 1/4 plug on it.

What do you all think of this analysis? Took about a month to put everything together for the video. Always looking to improve.

Re: #102 Layout (update)

Let me ask, do you want to update it more based off the photo?
Such as 4.7k power tube grid stoppers, effective 35uf screen filter?

Re: Bonamassa's ODS #80

the weird thing is it looks like there is a can cap towards the area where v1 would normally be. Which makes me think is a pcb board version, the brown combo that was posted up a while ago

Re: Hello I'm new

Welcome, I love the Mesa is it a MKIIA(no effects loop) or MKIIB(with effect loop)

I just got one over on Guitar Center they had a Meesa Boogie MKI listed and I found out it is a MKIIA Head with reverb and EQ in that same blonde tolex, only asking $600 for it. Should have it Monday shipped from NM

Re: 12v switching power supplies

50w/12v= 4.17 amps a 12ax7 draws .15 amps at 12~ volts so, enough filament voltage for 24.8 preamp tubes =)

Re: New Express build

Nice build... thanks for posting that up for us to get a look at. Building in an attenuator is not too difficult and has turned out to be one of the cooler features I've added to a Wreck. I use an internal rheostat but have the load resistors on the outside of the chassis. Yes, that is a reverse im...

Re: New Express build

its located on the left side(looking from the rear) I believe there would be enough room above the weather stripped area to do an airbrake there. JM's Ken built amp is from 1985 IRC so I doubt it would be a VVR type setup.
also has a slave out like Kens airbrake did.

Re: New Express build

I know the one that Ken built for JM had a built in attenuator. I do not know if it is an airbrake in the same chassis or if it is some sort of VVR.

I'm not 100% sure on that

Re: New Express build

The board and the cab both came from RJ. I ran wires under the board. The cab is the eco from his sight. Its plywood, but with some wood filler and some sanding it looks good for a few feet away uncovered. Some day I'll build a nice hardwood cab for her. This also has one of the newer JM trainwreck ...
