Re: Touch-Sensitivity: Myth or Reality?
I play naked.... By that I mean no effects period lol Don't get me wrong at times I like some verb, but I am just fine without it. Definitely beefed up my chops. Everyone is right, clean to mean with the picking intensity. But there's another factor in picking lightly. You get subtle harmonics. Its ...

Re: Funny Story About Tweed!
My first build was a 5e3 and I loved it. But then a built a 5f2a with a vintage rectumfryer and a Jensen p10r. That was one of my favorite little amps ever. Just beautiful tones. But the more I build the more I appreciate different sound. I recently got to play a 50watt fumble ods clone cranked to 1...

I also built a 5f6a/jtm45 into a trainwreck sized blank with no problem at all.

Re: From Tesla to Black Holes
I like to believe that there are things that we do not understand. I hate to say this (because I'm a very empirical thinking person but at the same time a realist), but science must be proven right. Then science is right till proven wrong. Trouble is it has been proven wrong and either evolved or cr...

I agree, sexting is a bit of a joke. But when it comes down to it its child pornography and how else is the government going to handle it? The fact that they will most likely be labeled as sex offenders is freaking ridiculous. I'm also not into the selling of the pictures. Now I'm 22, and I had a ce...

I appreciate it guys.
Some things just look funny. Could be because I've been staring at tweed fender schematics for the last 6 months.

Richie's 36watt tmb
Got a question for you guys on this schematic.
What is the plate load resistor for the 2nd triode of the 2nd pre amp tube. From what this schematic reads there isn't one and I just don't think that is right. I could see maybe the 91k being used for both triodes?

I just watched your ROCK STUDY video on youtube, and I must say it sounds great. But I have to ask.....Do you have to push a wheelbarrow around to pack the balls it must have taken to wear those pants on camera? :D In all seriousness I really like how your tone and phrasing has changed over the years.
