Re: New Trainwreck style PCBs
Yes, absolutely. You can use the power section and PT that you wish!Riffmonster wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 9:26 am Looks very good, great work! I see you indicated 6V6s and a PT secondary of 260v-0-260v I assume your PCB would also work with EL34s and a PT secondary of 300v-0-300v?

Re: New PCBs! Dumblelator, Princeton Reverb, SLO100
Also, the damages you showed look to me they're coming from uncoated (or very lightly coated) PCBs. In that case, the clearance is much larger than the value I mentioned of course. But mine are all coated as you can see. In any case - I'm on your side when it comes to safety factors, and that's whic...

Re: New PCBs! Dumblelator, Princeton Reverb, SLO100
Dear bepone, didn’t want to come out as rude. Apologise if you got that impression. In any case, I’m complying with IPC2221B standards - I work in the robotics and aerospace industry so I do have a fair bit of experience as well. The board you see in the video is the dry-run version of the final PCB...

Re: New PCBs! Dumblelator, Princeton Reverb, SLO100
Also, this is not based only on my experience, but on science and on the industry. There’s a specific standard that regulates this. It’s the IPC2221B, and it describes minimum trace distances for commercial PCBs. Have a look at it. I’m attaching a screenshot of it https://i.ibb.co/HxmwKJv/EC0-A24-E7...

Re: New PCBs! Dumblelator, Princeton Reverb, SLO100
i allready mention many times, and people repeating the same error again and again... forget about theory and first power up which will be ok. too low clearance between Ub+ and GND lines, there is never too much, also if is 1cm between the lines! here is 1 mm , 40 mills or less if i can judge from ...

Fender Princeton PCB project!
Hello everyone! I got a lot of request for designing a Fender Princeton PCB. I got some time this weekend to design one, and I've already jotted down a layout with it. I've used Rob Robinette layouts as a starting point and the more "modern" version from Ceriatone (with standby switch, HT fuse, etc....
