Hi Tony, I be up for trying a few more things being that you have it. Last 2 weeks have been shit. Wife decided to try and kill herself … I’m telling you thins because I’d like something that sings when I get it back.

That thing was a beast! I know that thing has too much going but the basic clean and overdrive is great. It seems to have the same characteristics as my nephew’s.

After I demo’d my nephews amp Henry created this for me.

I remember Henry telling me that vishay dales were very important in that build. That’s all I remember about that lol!

I’m sorry guys but those songs in the link are lackadaisical and the tone is blah. Just kinda there to me. I saw him in OKC with a super reverb(back line) and a tube screamer and it killed this. No idea why he used ts and not a zendrive. He kinda phoned the whole show in.

Until I can get it worked on I’d like to brighten it up considerably. What should I do? I’m thinking about a different cap on the master. I'm a little surprised it's not bright enough if it already has a cap on the master. (Personally, I always felt the master bypass cap added too much icepick even...

Yes, I’m very surprised mine is dark. It’s not icepicky at all. The night before last I had to max treble and presence.

I just worked out a deal to send it to Tony at volition amps for a major overhaul so I won’t have to mess with the bright cap myself.

Until I can get it worked on I’d like to brighten it up considerably. What should I do? I’m thinking about a different cap on the master.

Yes, it was a vvt on reverb but the store in md sold it before I could track down a foot switch.

I’m open to other things to try too. Btw. I wanted an x amp on reverb but it didn’t have a foot switch and I didn’t know if it was proprietary.
