Use FR4 for the eyelet board. Go with 1/8" thickness for full-sized builds, 1/16" is too flimsy. For the chassis, check Hammond; they have sizes that fit your transformer.

If you're sticking to the original #124 design, go with a 6.3V secondary transformer since it uses a voltage doubler. The 166F12B you mentioned is 12V, so it depends on whether your build follows the original power supply setup or a different BOM. Just make sure your rectifier setup matches.

I haven't tried it, but reading this article and seeing your feedback makes me really want to try stem cell therapy. Dealing with knee pain can be frustrating, and the idea of a non-surgical option that actually promotes healing sounds promising to me.

The resistor values sound way out of spec. The 470K could be too little and the 1M too much, which damages our gain. Come on in and bring it closer to 680K Perhaps also the wiring and cathode bypass caps, they also should sound off.
