Back in the day a lot of amp mod guys (when working on Marshall's) used to punch a preamp tube hole in between v2 and v3 on the preamp side. I'm all about experimenting, especially when it's outside the Marshall voice which is where I've spent the most time. After years of working on that sound I know what I like there. Moving forward I think the combination of a 4x10 with the Express will be very interesting. I like the 65's a lot too.....
