Greetings,
Title says it all. I am building D-amp, and someone needs to get me, perhaps, some valves in a shop in Boston, MA area. Does anyone know about a shop there? Roslindale, MA is closer neighbourhood, but anywhere in Boston wider area is OK. Thanks.

Re: Output Impedance
Greetings, Hm, Englishman nicely and elegantly answered a very interesting question about a difference between 5,3k and 6,6k OT primary imp. for a TW amp (something that was puzzling me for quite some time), and, gee, now we see him pushed around here for that kindness. Ts, ts, ts, ... no good deed ...

Re: Building a Rocket - Layout Check for group build
Greetings, Thanks everyone for the great input. I have done my own layout, better than the previous, hopefully (previous ones were erased to clean up this thread a bit). First, I really do not like the ¨stack o' caps¨, the six-pack of electrolytic capacitors (a six-pack of lytes, right?), since it l...

Re: Building a Rocket - Layout Check for group build
Greetings, No matter what, now the schematics does not match the Treble and Bass pot connections in the layout. So, to make it simple, I have added numbers 1,2,3, to the schematics (here I cannot post the attachment) for Volume, Treble, Bass and Cut. My assumption is that the "1" position on the pot...

Re: Building a Rocket - Layout Check for group build
Greetigns, Thanks for the layout, and updates. But, it is not yet clear whether Bass and Trebla pots are wired according to the schematics? Namely, I see that lug 3 on the Treble pot should be wired to lug 1 on the Bass pot. That is not so in the layout. Perhaps I am wrong? Or, is the lug 1 on the s...

Re: Building a Rocket - Layout Check for group build
Greetings, Well, I have done it so far, but it would be nice if someone perfected the layout, which could be done if someone volunteers to recive my AutoCAD file of the present layout, and if possible make interventions in the AutoCAD format, and than it can be transfered into .gif format here. In o...

DELETED. Look at the schematics and layout posted on earlier page, dated june 9, 2008. That is my best. Hopefully someone posts final layout.
