Re: Building a Rocket - Layout Check for group build
Greetings, Strange project where the last and the least feature, front plate, is being discussed into a detail, while there is no schematics and layout. Anyway, is the layout of the main board drawing of april 5, final? For example, are the two cathode capacitors 0.022uF or are they actually 22uF as...

Re: Building a Rocket - Layout Check for group build
Greetings, Thanks for your effort, looks good. But, are you going to draw and post the schematics for this build? That would certainly be helpful, since there are several schematics on this forum and it would be best if we had your final choice of ckt. drawn nicely, so that we have the reference. I ...

Re: Dlator Values
I am 100% sure that Mr. O'Connor took many a bread from many a plate when he wrote his TUT book. But, never mind, let the man eat.
If someone wants to post shcematics, fine, if not, fine again.

Re: Dlator Values
I have looked at that loop as it is very similar. Tthe KOC loop is what Andy puts in the Fuchs amps. At least I think that may be the case. Gary I got several schematics of parallel/series FX loop, one of them from this forum called ¨fatman¨, but wander could you post here this KOC schmatics that i...

Re: which trafo?
Greetings, I suggest that you purchase Heyboer transformer in the USA. A custom OT with 4k Ohm primary and 4,8,16 Ohm secondary costed me US$ 85, with comfortable 50W power (I use 2x EL34), and the shipping costs via Air Parcel were US$40. You cannot get it shipped from Germany to Italy for much che...

Re: Astroid/Express OT question
Greetings,
Well, this is the best I got, but these specs require CONFIRMATION from the members who know whether they are OK, or they need to be different. So, the question is still not answered firmly.

Re: Astroid/Express OT question
Greetings, For the Asteroid amp design that appeared on this page this summer (the one with valve rectification, choke, touch switch, etc.), someone posted the following specs for PT and OT, which need to be confirmed and/or corrected: Asteroid PT you want something along the lines of 365-0-365V @250...

Re: Anodized front panel for ODS
Useful? Well, this thread was supposed to be about DESIGN of audio, elcetroacoustic enclosures, valve amp. face plates ... etc. and such equipment. And, as one gentleman that I respect greatly, Mr. Alan Stewart, the man who designed ¨Electric Lady Land¨ studio (Jimi Hendrix recordings, etc. ...), st...

Re: Anodized front panel for ODS
The comment served for making the point to Mr. Funk, and than I think it should be removed (design files of bass horn are not for public use).
All the best.

Re: Anodized front panel for ODS
Greetings, Would people in the furute do a favor to SOME of the readers (and occasional participants) of this Forum, not to ask for opinions about their projects, designs, graphical and aesthetic ideas ... since it is painfully obvious that anyone who does not give flattering, praising, ¨encouraging...

Re: Anodized front panel for ODS
The man asked for people's opinion, and he got some. The man stood up to it, and walked away with perhaps some ideas that he migh or that he might not use in his finetuning of his face plate. But, some people cannot give permission for open and free expression of one's thoughts and ideas about a par...
