Very nice work.I see you are using a MAP gas torch. I have tried this before but the aluminum sheet tended to melt just as the alumi-weld rods melted. May have been the nozzle I used (broad flame. What type of nozzle is that, a pinpoint flame? And what alloy is the aluminum sheet made of? Thank you...

Typically I use .75" x 1" pine with the .75" glued and screwed to inside of the cab. I also use t-nuts for the baffle and back panels' machine screws so the 1" width is needed for them.

First thing I'd do is ensure a 12AY7 is in V1. Fender used these for a reason. A 12AX7 provides so much gain that the volume control becomes a "fuzz" control. Replacing V1 with a 12AY7 (assuming you have a 12AX7 in there now) would help. Another thing is the V2 phase splitter, which is actually a ga...

Radials from Nichicon, Rubicon, Panasonic, etc. typically outperform their axial counterparts from Sprague, F&T, MOD, JJ, etc.
Look for life ratings, temp. ratings and ripple current ratings in particular. As far as sound - brown caps sound best....YMMV

On a tube like the 807 they're to prevent oscillation. I would assume the same of your Fuchs amp.
