If your pilot lamp has solder lugs, I would be inclined to use those to tie the transformer primaries together (0 and 0, 120 and 120) like this. How are you hearing crosstalk? Are you plugging in two guitars, one to each channel? Did you install a MV? Have you swapped tubes or tried other tubes? What is your bias now? Got the amp running today. Noticed that one of the EL84s was running a bit hot. The label on it was sizzling. But only one of the tubes.
