Thank you.
The schematic is a little different but it did help get the repair done.

Re: Jumped into the rabbit hole
Heyboer makes a Twin power transformer with an extra 6.3v tap to power your relays.
It is also capable of powering either a quad of 6L6s or EL34s.
Give them a call.

Re: CNC router for chassis
It is an aluminum chassis. .051 so it is pretty thin. PT is 10 pounds. OT is 7 pounds X 2. I will brace the transformer mounts with aluminum angle underneath. I have built dozens of chassis with a drill press and step bits. Since I have the cnc router I would like to use it for this. My smallest hol...

CNC router for chassis
Is anyone using a cnc router to mill a chassis? I could use a few pointers. I have used mine to mill tag/turret boards in G10/FR4 with a little success. I needed 3 different size holes in the boards. I used a 1/16 end mill to cut .14, .093 and .125 holes. (#4 bolts, turrets and eyelets) The holes we...

Re: What're you listening to right now??
Seeing that Joe Maphis video reminded me of a time I walked into a local studio in New Mexico. A friend was running a session and I heard some travis picking going on. I commented about how that guy really had that travis picking down. He said "He ought to, he is Merle Travis." I watched Merle Travi...

Re: Kt150 in a Univalve?
I already have a quad of KT150s.
I am building a class A hifi amp but I won't have the transformers for another 4 to six weeks.
I would like to use the Univalve to see if the tubes are functional before my return window expires.
I won't be running them very hard.

Re: Mortality - Some Thoughts
I buried my dad back in September. He was 96. I was the executor of his estate. The disposition his possessions was pretty simple. He had a buttload of investments and insurance policies along with gold and silver. He started gifting the gold and silver to us about 10 years before his death. The inv...

Re: Proper ODS 183 transformer spec?
Heyboer makes a power transformer with plenty of power for EL34s and you can get a second 6.3 volt tap to power the relays.
