Re: Any interest in seeing some Dumble Tweed Deluxe photos?
Stupid question, what is the significance of keeping the original Aston capacitor?

Nice work, I have a deluxe reverb myself one of my favorites as well. What kind of capacitors and transformers did you use? Any more pictures?

Removing eyelets
Hi all,
What is the best way to remove eyelets from an 1/8" thick board? Should I reuse the board or save the trouble and start drilling a fresh one? thx.

Re: EV TL806 Thiele
I made the cab bottom up, first the bottom then the frame, glued the top and then the sides. That way it's easier to re-adjust the frame for square and trim the sides with a router if they overlap.

I'll buy what Billy says about the RT1.

Re: Question for Tele/Strat players
Thanks Ron, that is an Allparts SRO-C neck. ... The knobs and pickup covers were sanded with fine paper to mimic 37 years of play and also have some tinted clear on them. Nice work on the tele! back to the question, for relics I really like the Nash guitars (haven't played them). I've tried the suh...

Re: My technique...
It took a while to figure out, and while it doesn't yield perfect results, here is what I did: Because inkjet and laser printers cannot print white ink (it comes out clear), and because most chassis's are black, to get white lettering, I print a black box with white lettering on decal stock. Then I...

Re: JJ 803S Gotta try em
I found the same thing about the JJ's, I had them in the V1 and V2 but found them a tad hard at the end I went back to the LPS. But I really loved them in a fender HotRod.Bob-I wrote:I've tried a few, not impressed. I found the OD a tad hard sounding compared to an EH or LPS.

Electro Voice question
hey all,
Is there a difference between the EV and EVM? EVM12L Black Label, EVM12L Classic and EVM12L OEM? Series I and Series II? Are there differences between reissues, and OEM?
And which one sounds best in a clone? And why are the prices skyrocketing?

Re: Copper Clad FR4 for Printed Circuit Board Creation
Has anyone used the 'laser printer transfer' method to etch their own PC boards for the power supply and such? I was looking into it and wondered if the Copper Clad FR4 I see on the internet is the right stuff. Some descriptions call it 'translucent' and 'yellow green' this would seem to be fitting...

Re: Bassman 10 ODS conversion. Sound clip for feedback please.
... Thanks for kind words guys. Like I said before, couldn't have done it without the Garage....well maybe I could have but I'd have a new boat anchor instead of an amp. ... That's pretty sweet! just out of curiosity, what are the transformers on bassman 10? I'm glad that you had the courage...
