Re: SE EL34 Plexi-verb

Phil, I'm not second guessing, may i ask if you have verified your 15 and 5v rails under load at the module? As Xtian verified the module is quite the power hog. Voltage multipliers can be finniky under load.

Re: SE EL34 Plexi-verb

Phil,

As a rule of thumb, I always shoot for 10 times lower than the lowest note on a guitar to be amplified, which would approximately be 8 hz for an open e or 7 hz for drop d.

Remember that there will be an octave lower harmonic around 40 and 35 hz in respect to the open e and d mentioned above.

Re: Popa Chubby - Hey Joe

Thanks for posting that. Good to see Poppa is still out performing, I've followed him for years, but don't think he makes it around here too often...

I find his style and music very easy to listen to, especially some of his older songs like Sweat.

Re: Pro Multi meter + Capacitance Meter

I have a number of meters ranging from a high end Fluke to cheap 50 dollar throw around meters. At work we have the latest and greatest Fluke's and I have to be honest, the next meter I buy will be a Brymen. Regarding reading to the puff level, it's not going to happen with a DMM, even the high-end ...

Looks Great. Nice use of KOA SPRs, I just wish that the were easier to come by and in more values.
