The easiest thing is to re-adjust you overdirve trimmer and try a different speaker. +1 In fact Gregor bought a Ceriatone after he sold his Dumble and also had to re-adjust the OD trim pot to get to a sweet spot he was happy with. You've come to your own conclusions, but when I compared an original G1265 with an original EV12L on my D'Lite 22/33 I preferred the G1265. (FWIW, on the OTS, it was the other way around...I preferred the EV)
