I didn't know better when I was young and sent a Silver face Super Reverb to Torres for his superior amp designs ha ha.

It took me until I started working on amps many years later to discover why the amp sounded so odd. It was out of phase do to Torres gain mods.

Tried to attach photos but did not work?

I used to build Rockets with two of the filter caps incorporated in the circuit on the tone board and punched chassis hole for 50/50 can cap or put remaing caps on small board.

I messed up it is not a 5e7 it is a 6g7A 50w Bandmaster non-reverb.

The chassis has 4 power tube holes so it could be used as a Twin 6g8 also.

I remember clearly our working on my amp a 50w 6L6 Rocket Reverb using that watts control in the PI like the Carlsboro 60 amp. Still have the amp and still love the tones.
