Re: Bluesmaster PI reprise

There are lots of o-scope tutorials around to get the basics. More recent ones will lean more toward digital. When the signal gradually fades, the balancing gets off hence return of 2nd order harmonics.

Re: Bluesmaster PI reprise

think better, what is 2H and 3th and 5th H.., all are under "distortion" but 2H in small amount is good which you cannot say for 3H and 5H.. and you can cancell only second with perfect matching Perfect matching is only possible for a chosen output level. If you're "under" the chosen output level t...

Re: 2nd Gen Build

FET is sorted and sounds good. At some point in testing yesterday, I realized my standby switch was wired incorrectly (essentially like there was no switch in circuit). I easily found the mistake, but for the life of me could not see where the OT CT, choke, and standby were supposed to be tied toge...

I may be the minority , but I honestly can’t vibe with the top end of 102 . Feels like a cavity is being filled , so says the resident critical ear of my wife , and I have to concur . It may have all the other magic 3d dumble note articulation and chord clarity , but I far prefer other examples of ...

Right now ampgarage.com is extremely slow/ not responding. I tried to answer some PM, after half an hour I gave up. This is showing up when answering a PM: That's the same error I was seeing when trying to view "New posts". Clearing the browser history fixed it. I just successfully sent a PM to mys...

Re: Starting to populate the chassis....

There are a lot of good soldering station out there.
Depending on budget ofc.
I have a JBC BT-2BQA. Temp adjustment and is soldering ready in less than 3sec. It has a active tip and powers down when in station to avoid burning your tip.
