Re: WTB Chassis for TW build
Sorry, Holidays took me away from this chassis search! Roe, this looks great, I'll double back with the customer and see if he's still interested. Thank you and the others who had suggestions.

No RJ! Tube-town looks good for the EU ppl... I'm in the US. BTW, Ceriatone does not seem to be selling individual chassis? Anybody else have an idea? Thanks!

Re: 5f6a Lar Mar issue
Slucky? I'm curious about your suggestion to remove the 1.5K grid stoppers from the power tubes with the added PPIMV. Are you saying that the MV 250K pot resistance negates the need for the small 1.5K resistance?

Hey, Ange. I hope things are good with you and yours.
I'm happy to hear that the post was helpful to you. I think it covered the vintage Marshall circuits in a nice way; a good read, and with helpful details all in one place. Take care, Brother!

Make this a sticky, the best Marshall breakdown I've ever read
I was working here recently on a Ceriatone JTM100W that had a blown OT. It first arrived with blown stock Chinese OT. I had Heyboer send me their version of a JTM100W Marshall OT that they have cloned, wasn't cheap....sorry customer. BTW, this OT was a Monster (that barely fit in the Ceriatone head ...

Re: Chris Cain plays Monkeymatic
Chris is a totally unique player, a good friend of Robbin Ford but his playing doesn't show it in the slightest. His typical amp is a Musicman RD112 (65watt) amp with an EV12L onboard. I caught him one time years ago in Salem Oregon at My Left Foot, with his typical bass and keyboard friends from th...

Re: Conductive boards again.
That's a lot of work that you've already invested Mark. I just saw this post, btw, and I've run into at least a dozen SF amps that had the problem you're experiencing. I have heard that high humidity was the reason that Fender began waxing the boards, FWIW. Moving on, I watched the one video where t...

Re: new pacific transformer budget series called "red"
Your build looks really nice, Vince. If it's quiet then I would suggest you check your speaker cable... One time a builder that went on to make different amps for Joe Bonamassa made a clone or two of the Express amp. I've looked at one, guts and all, he really did build clones at one time. Any...

Is this maybe the album: Larry Carlton with special guest Robbin Ford? Great album.

All the old user posted pics are gone, lost to the use of external links to non-existant web sites. Why weren't these pics just posted on the Amp Garage server?

Re: Upgrade to AB763 reverb (no vibr) on bench
Scratch the 4.7uf pre cap if you want it to have any BF vibe at all, use the stock 25uf. The bass here is where the magic starts, the reverb circuit will thin that out. Also, you need the 12AT7s (reverb driver and PI). And remember that the 2nd input jack on a Fender amp creates 136K resistance befo...

Re: UA Amp pedals
No UA pedals here but I like my OxBox. I do have a few UA plugins that are OK, but, oh well, all they really do for me is make me wish I had the analog gear.
