Thats been often debated, but no consensus as to why Ken used such an oversized/rated resistor... But he was very consistent with doing so...

Be advised they will hold a deposit on the value of the amp while you have it. I generally use Mallory 150's or Zoso's in everything... Form factor more than anything, tho I do tend to subscribe to the "Orange Drops are too hi-fi" school.

Arent 6PS' polyester like the Mallory?
