Re: Modifying Holland lil jimi to sound more like BF Fender?
For starters if you haven't already. You might confirm it matches the layout you posted. Maybe check/reflow all solder points for power supply caps, controls and grounds, it may just need some touchups. This is assuming the amp is an older build. link to other member who had this type of amp https:/...

Re: Dirty Harry build
Gotta say
Those face-plates are classic!
Absolutely cool
So the pc pin octal sockets are to fill the holes?
Maybe a 3 channel clean, crunch, dirty next... the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?

Re: BrownFace 6G16 build
D: what speaker(s) are you using? Very nice amp.... i wanted to build one minus the tremolo Hi Joe Used a EV12 for testing. Had to make a few tweaks, she really is sounding nice now Plugged into a 2x10 closed back cab and she came to life. Imho the trem is not needed but a nice addition to the amp. D

BrownFace 6G16 build (Vibroverb)
She is up and sounding decent. Voltages are good Voiced the normal channel tonestack with .022/.022/ 390p and 56k Stock on the Bright channel. Did the tremolo cap mod to slow it a bit. Added a Bias pot and bright caps on pull pot switches. Tapped treble pot on normal channel seems to work ok, bright...

Re: Matchless/Bad cat build thread
Congrats! Looks and sounds great Marcus. Its a great circuit, sweet cleans and nice gain, can be very versatile using guitar controls. Moved the 2 I built, 2xEl34 and 2x6V6 power. Both times had seller remorse, but needed funds for other builds. Someday would like to build one with a relay for chann...

Re: Current Transformers for a D'Lite style build
My 2cents
Marshall 50 watt OT or a Fender 35 watt Vibrolux OT( I think the BN OT was similar to)
Not sure if you are located US or not, Cedist has both around 75.00
I would suggest the Bluesmaster circuit with EL34's and the Marshall OT.

Nice!
I am a natural wood fan and this is very interesting.
Love the look of the black dye and scarlet showing the wood grain.
Great work.

Re: Bluesmaster build
Looking good Erwin
BM is one of my fav D style amps.
Great balance from clean to OD.
Is your tone stack 47k/.022/.022?
One cap looks smaller.
