Re: Morris Vox AC-30TBR layout and its reverb issues
Mark, it has been my experience w/ these older amps (and even new ones!) is that they love using the chassis as a ground return. That is dead wrong with how we know currents travel and interfere in circuits these days. If it was my customers amp....the FIRST thing I would do is replace the rectifier...

Re: Sound City B150 Bass Amp
This circuits intrigues me....I got bored so I drew it out so it easily make sense. It kinda looks like another way to make a 'jumpered' preamp, but fine tuning the second channel. I think this could be modified for a guitar circuit w/ just a few component changes....could sound unique...but I know ...

Would this work for you?
It's just a 3PDT and a DPDT footsw w/ leds and led current resistors.

I've been using these: https://www.mouser.com/en/ProductDetail ... sreg%3D%3D
They come in shorter sizes, as well....
But you could use tall turrets soldered into the board.
In addition to an opening in the board for air flow, as Martin mentions

Re: Distance between eyelets and eyelet to hardware?
It would be good to figure out some rules for eyelet board layout, minimum distances, keep out areas, etc. I've gotten used to this in circuit board layout software. If that is the case, you can use rules for 'A6' under 'Min Conductor Spacing' tab in this tool. https://saturnpcb.com/saturn-pcb-tool...

Rare Brit amp...Elgen
Kinda loosely based on 6G6 bassmans
I had both bass and lead versions on the bench back when I serviced amps...belonged to a local collector
