The Express and rocket output transformers aren't the same.
Look on the Rocket BOM for the Hammond model.

The express as it is already has 2 versions depending the power tubes used....22 watts using 6V6's and 35 watts using EL34's.

Rocket uses a different OT.

It all sounds good Jelle. Bud box was flimsy and although we don't want that,it is what it is. I hope the chassis is not way thicker than Allyn's.
The thin aluminum chassis had an effect with the sound. All the grounds go to the chassis. Just don't make it too thick!!

Very nice 2tone!! The only thing i can imagine as "gain" mod is how the input triode was biased (V1b), or maybe the extra gain stage in the second preamp tube (V2a). Changin the value of either one or the other cathode resistors would do.....

I though I could buy any dual foot switch on ebay and remove the stereo 1/4 inch jack and rewire the male plug....I though it was that easy!!

I just ordered this part from Mouser....

Should I just buy a generic foot switch from ebay cut the 1/4inch jack and rewire to this male plug?
