Best new production el34s i've tried have been the tung sol el34b, they are getting great reviews as the best new production el34. As per questions about Komet Chasiss. I went to a local manufacturing facility and inquired about making a chassis and they said that they did them for the guys in Baton Rouge, LA (Komet Amplification). one small detail overlooked
Just to point out, Preamp tube wires should be at 90degree when passing over or under each other. Also, heater wires to your power amp tubes should be twisted, if not this may cause some hum. Dont mean to sound like a know it all, i just want you to have the best amp you can. Thanks
