Re: car repairs and cost of parts

I got ~8 years old Toyota Yaris, quite popular car here in Europe and good for city, it's really dependable but when something breaks down it will probably cost a lot, I remember when rear's wiper engine went down - original was around 160$ ! Problem is that online sellers knows the price so even us...

Re: how to hack a car

It was a real fun to play with that - there was a full cockpit and you could turn on/off lights, horn, locks. Even recently I thought about buying OBD-II connector and try to hack my car, what stop...

Re: Windows XP loses MS support tomorrow

Honestly I wouldn't be really afraid about loss of support, get yourself antivirus soft and you'll be ok. As for other systems, from more than 2yrs I'm using Win 7 at home and it's most stable system I've ever had - I don't turn off my laptop, I just close the screen and it hibernates, I restart it ...

Thinking about 5E3 inspired amp ...

Well guys, you probably know that feeling that you must build something new (even when you don't have room for it :). Recently I've been thinking about some tweeds, first thought - 5E3 (or 5D3) inspired amp. Are there any things I should know before starting this kind of build ? I've read that the c...
