I have never used the Splitmix4, but it looks like it is capable of doing the wet/dry/wet setup and do what you are looking for.
Still need the line level signal out of the amp, and a power amp/speakers for the wet side.

Re: Any ideas on wet/dry/wet set-up? Oddessey, Dumblelator II?
Did the same thing and went with a line out from an attenuator (wrecks with no loops), that then goes to a single rack space mixer, then to effects, etc. Used to carry around a big heavy power amp for the wet signal and now I'm using the electro-harmonix caliber 44 power amp. It's a pedal thats the ...

Re: wet/dry rig setup
Good luck with the amp building. I had never done it until coming to this forum, and now have built a Liverpool and Rocket to go with my express. You won't regret doing it.
If you get an amp layout nailed down then still need help with wet/dry setup let us know.

Re: wet/dry rig setup
The other main question is where are your overdrive tones coming from? Pedals or amps? If you are going all pedal then this box would work to let you send a dry guitar to a power amp PA or monitor, and also send the same signal to effects that would then go to a power amp PA or monitor. If you want ...

Re: wet/dry rig setup
Yes you can do it all in a single 4X12 cab. You want to answer some questions first. Is this for a live rig, if so can you get three channels on the PA one for dry, and two for stereo effects. In the same cabinet you won't get a real full stereo spread on your effects because they are in the same ca...

Re: Express build started.
Jeff, great looking amps, and I really like the token badging idea very cool.
I'm with you on which one to play more, it's a battle between express and Liverpool. Both great just a bit different. Now the rocket is a different beast all together.

Both Grissom and Trucks are so fun to listen to. Grissom has the whole Texas thing going on and Derek is in a class of his own for sure.
Great thread.

Re: Saw EJ last night
Had not heard that he moved to any PRS amps. Warren Hayes, Derek Trucks, and Dave Grissom are well advertised users but not EJ yet. Some of the CAD amps from PRS are looking good from available YouTube videos but I've never played one in person. The MDT and HXDA models are supposed to be built off o...

Thought I would share a couple of quick pics, now that Faith, Hope, and Love are done ! The bottom one is the Rocket, Middle is Liverpool, and top is Express. Mikey did the cabs for the Rocket and Liverpool, the Express was already put together and I purchased second hand. New cabs make the Express ...

BYoC Triboost
Anyone built and played BYOC Triboost with their wreck builds?
Thinking about building one and wondering if anyone has any feedback on how it plays with Rocket, Liverpool, and Express builds.
Thanks

Re: Before I buy alnicos
I'm currently using a M75-65 Watter, and a M75LHDC-65 Watter. One for the dry amp and one for wet. The wet side is not so critical on speaker choice but having these available as options seem to work well so I run the Express dry to the M75, Liverpool dry to the M75LHDC, pretty flexible.

Re: Rocket, Express, Bassman pix and demo
Good to hear other peoples builds and compare to what you are used to hearing from your own amps. I like the Express the best, but I know I'm biased because I like my own Express above the Rocket and Liverpool. The Bassman sounded good especially in a guitar only scenario like this, i'm guessing the...
