Re: Lindley ODS
I was sure you'll like this shot ! A trim for the FET is a good option as Lindley was complaining his ODS sounds good with lap, but not so good with guitars cause he was changing too often... I guess a FET trim will help him switching between the silvertone, to the vox and then back to the supros......

Re: Bassman OT Rewound opinion
Thanks for your answer !
I was thinking that the old irons, beside the winding, will add somethings to the sound, just as the magnet on old guit' pickup...
Sad news, now I'll need to sell this one, and to buy a new one !
Thank you by the way !

Bassman OT Rewound opinion
Hi, I’ve got a fender bassman OT (022871) that is not working correctly, distortion appear as soon as the volume is between 2 and 3… I was thinking of using it in a #40 aka 70's Layout dumb.. amp The price for a complete rewound is… Expensive! My question is : Do you think it is worth it? Are old ir...

Re: DUMBLE Bill Of Material for #40 and 70's Layout
Hi Tony, Thanks for your input! Here is a New BOM with the Carbon Comp Resistor modification! Can you please confirm that there is no mistake in the capacitors original manufacturers section? Although make the layout component’s color accurate, it sure will be a lot of works! Maybe we can first work...

Re: DUMBLE Bill Of Material for #40 and 70's Layout
Due to recent discussion with Marcos, and thanks to his help, I'm going to stop making this BOM based on the #40 schematic, and make it based on Tony Albany's layout.
This BOM is the last for #40, there still will be some errors as well as some improvement.
I'll post the new 70's BOM asap

Re: DUMBLE Bill Of Material for #40 and 70's Layout
Ok, so, here is a new file, I reworked the Resistor and Capacitor by block (FET input, tone stack, etc...) There is a collumn where you can find (and fill in the blanck) the original part manufacturer There is an other collumn where you can find a close non obsolete part (you can still fill the blan...
