Re: Beam Blockers?
I use a guitar stand with 5 mm absorbing foam disc attached to it in front of the 1x12 Thiele EV speaker cabinet. Watch two videos how it works and how it's made. Re: Strat/Dumble. Always a problem for me until today!
I think for the more rounder tone, the bridge pickup must be a humbucker with a coil split when one needs a single twang as well. Here I’m playing a strat through the #102 OTS and it really sings with a bridge HB. No D lator in the FX loop, just Digitech RP200. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFGr6XF...

Hi,
Transformers and chock on this amp are Mercury Magnetics supplied by Nik.
Power tubes are Russian military 6L6s and preamp tubes are NOS Telefunkens.
Cheers

Hi,
Clean and clean boost (not PAB) with the strat's nek and bridge pickups.
Plus drive and driva+boost.

Sounds great Erwin, lovely melodic playing as well.
Is it amp’s reverb or your dumbleleator on this clip?

"dogears"I think we agree. Ma Man, we always agree! Let me clarify couple of things here. We agree that two dollars are better than one! That was an idea when I first modified Gil’s circuit, I’ve opened 1 meg pot and scratched a resistive track in the middle position – splitted the pot in two 500k ...

Tom,
Photo is not mine. Somebody published it after my suggestion. But obviously it does not matter which side of the capacitor is connected to the ground terminal or hot.

Re: Gil Ayan tone cut control for non HRM amps.
Probably my bad English Martin."martin manning" Where is the "post drive" trimmer?

I meant “bypasses 220k resistor after OD trimmer” ! One can bypass OD trimmer as well to have ultra high gain if desired.
