There are several Komet 60 modded by KF. I have heard the mods were minimal. Any ideas? Circuit or tubes?

Tried it in my Komet. They were nasty.

Is -3dB attenuation OK? Get it completely transparently by halving the amp impedance, plugging the attenuator into one speaker jack and speakers into the other (not into the attenuator).

Using what was handy for the treble control, I put 750K worth of resistors in series with a 250KA pot. Eventually, I got the 1MA pot. I put the first kludge back in. It made for more useful adjustment range in the treble control with the sweet spot right around 12-1 o'clock.

No disrespect intended. This forum is all about honoring the guy and his amplifiers. I heard one cap was added. I am just trying (as are all us hobbiests/students, here) to bridge the gap between rumor and real.

Can you say how KF's personal K60 was different from stock?
