6SQ7 internal diodes
Im not too good at reading datasheet graphs,just wondering if anyone knew the specs on the diode in these tubes.I know they were designed for detectors or something in radio but I may have a good use for one in an amp if it would work for me. Doesn't changing the field coil voltage also directly change volume? I would keep it that way. Field Coil Speaker Mod
Just got a cool power amp,all octal,that used a field coil speaker and a HUGE 6k wire wound resistor in the supply.This thing has RCA 6L6G power tubes and Id like to ditch the field coil but I know I have to keep the B+ down for the plate and screen specs.What are my options to make this work?

yeah the stamp on the glass kind of veered me away from thinking it was RCA.I love the "replace with GENUINE "Zenith" Tubes".kinda funny

I have an ART Multiverb LT.Got it at a yardsale,Have a BBE Sonic Maximizer 442 I traded an old radio chassis for.Pretty cool stuff for the home recording desk.I have about $15 in the two.

flashy blue light in power tubes
blue glow on the low notes.They are TAD 6L6GC.though you cant really hear anything wrong and all specs are good,what does this mean exactly? i know some tubes have the glow but ive never seen any in an amp Ive ever owned do it this so intense to where you can actually see the tubes push pull process...
