Re: Split channel, off of first plate?
What about taking one split from the anode of V1 and the other from the cathode of V1? See attached. I'm not suggesting this will work, just asking a question. It seems you misunderstood me I meant to adding a CF as shown on attached schematic. The output impedance of the CF is about 600 Ohms, add ...

Re: Split channel, off of first plate?
Hook in a Cathode follower at the Anode of V1 to lower the output impedance, both channels are extensive decoupled then.sonofmickel wrote:Is it ok to split off of the first gain stage plate to two separate circuits?

1stage is 10k right on the grid pin. 270k plate, 2k7/.68, .0022 coupler, 470k/.0022 to 250kA
2stage is 68k on the pin, 100k plate, 2k7/.68, .022 coupler, 470k/.0022 to 1MA.
That means to gain pots, am I right?

Re: Determine Mains Fuse Required
Our transformer maker recommend a time lag fuse which has the double
current of the nominal primary winding value.
I follow the recommendation quite often, it works fine.

Re: Necessity of Driver stage for KT120
Hi,
12AT7 tubes are needed in the PI circuit.
Have a look at this page:
http://www.tube-town.de/ttforum/index.p ... 03.15.html
The thread contains a working KT120 power amplifire schematic.
You must register, to see the schematic.

Re: 3stage + CF options
Who knows which switch type the first switch is? Which diode type is applied in parallel to the 1 Megohm potentiometer? I've been through a bunch of scenarios with this internal jumper configuration switch/term strip(?)and I'm still confounded. Seems 1 connection is always getting grounded. I will ...

Thanks!Reeltarded wrote:That is simple a pair of transistors with the emitters aimed at each other.
I think the switch is a simple DPST my eyes are worse than that file though.
So there are eight different input wirings possible.
I going to detail each wiring omit the switches getting the circuits across.
