Anyone else have a Nikspress on order?

Just curious to see if anyone here has an Express clone on order with Nik at Ceriatone. Also curious to see what your wait time has been.

I just ordered a chassis (my first "Express" build) and a faceplate from Nik. I'm in no hurry....I have 3 other amps to noodle with. I will have questions....hopefully only a few. This forum is packed with most of the answers already. I'll let you know when my parts arrive. I ordered some parts from Mouser last Friday bu U.S. mail.........It's Thursday.....still no parts. They say they shipped on Monday. Hmmmmmm? Maybe I'll have UPS do the work next time. Luckily, it was a $20 order for a few components for my Valve Junior.

I ordered a few items last week and they arrived today----5 working days from ASIA to Texas via DHL not bad. Everything arrived OK with no problems. E-mail nik and ask for the tracking #.

I can attest to how fast he ships when he has it; don't know the build time.

I ordered stuff on thursday night, he shipped friday, and I had it monday. SE Asia to Virginia in three days!!

Anxiously awaiting for my chassis & tag boards to arrive....but Nik says he recently ran out of tag board turrets .

I know that he has been waiting on new transformers (supposedly more like the originals), but I am rapidly approaching 8 weeks since I placed my order for a completed amp.

Guess I will just have to continue to be patient.

if you pay through banks You have to consider the time between you make the order and when he receive money... I ordered everything 1 week ago and money arrived to him this tuersday (just 6 working days, not bad). I have no hurry.. but if he has to prepare everything, I think he will need about a week or 2 (he told me that in the parcel he put everything, screws... wires... - very different from the audio kit you can buy in Italy)
Anyway I hope to get all material in a shorter time than your 8 weeks

Figures!! I post this yesterday, and guess what shows up on my doorstep today!!!! A nice care package from Nik!!

Just put the tubes in it and fired it up.

2 = 240 Volts for Australia
3 = PPIMV Master Volume
4 = Sprague SP Style Caps
5 = Ext Bias Test Jacks & Pot
6 = OT Impedance 6.6k To 5.2k Switch
7 = Additional Choke
8 = Choke Bypass Switch

can't wait to get it, it's currently one of 25 being assembled.

I've got a Liverpool on order from him. I ordered it 4 weeks ago - took a little extra time because he wasn't satisfied with the tone, so he did some tweaking...
Got an e-mail this evening - it ships tomorrow!!!
