Just too nice not to share...

Post by Distortion »

Here are a couple pictures of an amp I was lucky enought to build a cabinet for.
The cabinet turned out extremely well, but the amp turned out even better.
This amp just made its debut at the Tampa Tonefest.
Hopefully the builder will chime in but in case he doesn't the work was simply amazing.. :D

Even before I scrolled down, I figured if you dusted that amp? you'd find Allyns prints on it.

I'd sure like to see what makes it tick!

NICE WORK!

The wood is what I would call quittle.. It is a somewhere between Quilted and Fiddleback Maple..
Whatever you call it the wood had great figure to it..

That's a beauty! You don't often find guitars made of such nice maple.

I take it the lack of handles means you're not planning to take it out where it can get beaten up very often

Stunning. I love blonde wood. This is the nicest TW head cab I've seen.

Totally agreed, Larry thats amazing. Allyn, those gut shots look just as pristine, but you'll have to excuse me if I gush over Larry's woodwork a bit more. Nice job guys.
