VVR for a Liverpool
Are there instructions and a BOM for a VVR in a Liverpool? I've searched around but can't seem to find anything helpful.

Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Yeah, that doesn't give many answers either.Reeltarded wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 11:27 pm Let me try some magical magic and see if I can find you a decent thread. brb

Hello --
Here is the PDF documentation from that era when Mr. Hall was actively supporting this.
Gave a quick read through, particularly noting the cathode-bias option, and seems straightforward to follow for the Liverpool. No paint-by-numbers recipe for specific installation but good on the theory and design. Perhaps I am missing something from the story? And that all said, unclear if a Liverpool is really well suited to scaling. Ask Miles. Nothing beats one's pants flapping from the actual loudness.
Best .. Ian

Flappy pants make tonal rants!
I run mine naked or through a Palmer to channelize with my other amps. It likes the Palmer ok but it likes no brakes beast..

I built a Rocket with VVR. Same circuit as Hall. It should be the same cathode bias as Liverpool. Check out my posts.
