I had ordered 4 M75 25 watt 16 ohm Scumback speakers from Jim at Southbay but due to hurricane Ike and other events never got to put them in my 4x12.
Well I finally did the other day (4 months later) and WOW! I can say they were worth every penny. Amazing vintage tone and the top end is nice and relaxed,,,very sweet,,,and I can finally use the bridge pick up on my guitar! My express sounds amazing with those speakers.
Additionally, I put them in myself (with a little tech assistance from Jim) and only took me an hour.
Johnson. These were made for a few brief years by the guy who owned DOD and are amazing tuned 13 ply baltic void free baltic birch front loaded sealed back.
I put a Scumback H75 into one of my 6v6 combos and it is Killer. After breakin as per Jim, (I did use 2 washes of acetone though) It sounds spectacular. Highly Recommended.

Here's one that Pete Thorn of the Chris Cornell band did with an M75 65 watt about three weeks ago. He's using three different Dave Friedman (Rack Systems) amp mods installed on a Marshall Plexi reissue, IIRC.
What are the typical "break in" times for the M-75, H75 different wattages etc? I can't imagine it getting any better as they were so vastly superior to what I was used to hearing coming out of that cabinet, it really took me by surprise.
