Missed the OPs question but the dowels holding the transformers up and bottom plate to prevent the chassis from collapsing isn't necessary unless shipping. I have a thin BUD clone chassis amp built 5 years ago and I never used the dowls. Didn't cave in at all or show signs of collapsing. If I ship it I will defiantly add them.
