i thought the ef86 channel just jammed the pi for its distortion... the ef86 itself just provides a bit of compression... it would probably work on the clean (lightning) side though. then again im not exactly an amp guru either.

Vantamp- Your correct that this is a generic MV mod. I stated that it was not a Trainwreck schematic only because you were asking about the 250K phase balance. :wink: I didn't want you to be confused since you stated you were "still Learning." Sorry for the confusion! :lol:


Did you end up trying the MV circuit? What did you think?
