Just finished my first Express build. Here’s some pictures. Used a Pacific output transformer from RJ and a Hammond 272JX power transformer. Using the 125 volt primary tap got me 302-302 volts A/C unloaded.

Steve at Synaptic amps broke the chassis and burned the face plate. Very nice work! It sounds great. Waiting on the cabinet to be finished. Got the local cabinet shop working on it.

That pyrography is amazing. WOW, I've been practicing.. it comes out usable but not Pro.
Was this done by hand??
Can you help me locate a Red power switch snuber cap?? I've only found blue
The wiring is top notch too.. looks very similar to a original![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: New Express build
I got the MOV from Arrow Electronics V150LA10AP LITTLEFUSE. Its a 150 volt but it'll work fine. They have a lot of good stuff.
It's all done by hand. I got the chassis and the face plate, transformers, etc. I make my boards and do everything I can do. Hell I have to make the screws that countersink under the transformers for the power board.
I've made several amps but never attempted a copy like this. Thank you here for the pictures. Without the pictures I could have never done it.
