My backyard. After we were done about 150 of us watched Blazing Saddles on a huge screen and ate from a giant pot of baked beans!Structo wrote:Sounds great!

I was surprised about the youtube results too.

Very good!
From a amp geek standpoint, where do you set your amp volume? Guitar volume knob twiddling, or use your BoR to do the boost?
Thanks for posting. Looks like you were having a good time

Re: VIDEO The Vortex in action (My Liverpool)
Dont take this wrong..but the songs arent my cup of tea..just more into a different style of music..no reflection of your playing or anything..but I think it makes it even more of a compliment that I think those are some really great classic rock LP PAF tones you got going there! Really nice! Especially like the beginning of tone on Knockin on My Door. Great sounding set up..did you build the amp? Sounds really good!
Re: VIDEO The Vortex in action (My Liverpool)
If these videos don't want to make you build a liverpool then nothing will!
I really like the blues/Zep influence

Re: VIDEO The Vortex in action (My Liverpool)
Dang it! I'm was trying to talk myself out of building any more amps for myself. Or at least I thought I had moved on to an ODS.
Now, here I am again thinking that this is the most perfect tone in the world.
Seriously, I absolutely am loving this band. You definitely have to keep writing more songs and cut an album. If you sell any, I have to buy them. This is like my favorite kind of hard rock, and I haven't heard any other bands nail what I like quite like you guys do. It's how I feel the blues are meant to be played.
Do you have a different bass player from last time?
Have you tried your sound with just guitar and drums like the Black Keys? Or does it just lack too much bottom end tightness?
Have you ever tried an express with your stuff, and if you did, what did you think?
Sorry, I'm not trying to get your bass player fired or anything.
I'm in a fun (blues/rock) kind of band too, and we have trouble finding any available bass players to play with us regularly. Our committed one moved away. So, we sometimes think of trying to get by with just the 3 of us, and having our singer/songwriter girl play bass for the songs that really need it.
