New Liverpool Tracks

Post by Plague »

Hello amp guru's,

Posted 2 more new tracks from my studio with the R9 Les Paul / Trainwreck Liverpool clone combination... (Trying to finish the 6 song demo by the 26th)

Since I last posted any clips I have since acquired a Tungsram for V1 and a Mullard for V3. (GE in V2)

Loving it!

Thanks for listening.

Here are a couple pictures from a recent gig too...

I'm not sure if there is a better combination that a Liverpool and a Les Paul! Damn dude...I like Nothing Left...cool vibe to it!

Another question, what the heck is the Detroit Bar? I ask because I live in a 'burb of Detroit and I think it's kind of neet seeing something like that in Cali...so is it a run down place with a crook for a Mayor ;-)

HAH! Its a bar with a sound guy and sound system. But a bar none the less. Its actually pretty nice though. Have no idea why its called the detroit bar though. I'll ask when we play there

Thanks for listening.

Let me know if you guys ever make it to Iowa.
:D

Seriously, though...I'd love to see (and hear) you guys live! Good luck with your demo--recording is a good time!

What is your youtube page? I can't get to MySpace at work, but I think YouTube still works...

Sounds great!

The guitar tone and style remind me of the Black Keys, which I like a lot.

Open/far mike recordings are ok for trebly guitar, vocals, and cymbals/high hat, but need close miking for drums and bass. Bass is there, just harder to hear.

Edited to add: Oops, Oh yeah, I run my home computer's sound out through an old SS Pioneer stereo system (with proper speakers). If you're listening through OEM computer speakers, you're probably not going to hear bass.
