turn off noise
working on a rockett right now. It has noise when you turn off the standby. Is that recto noise. I see its wired that way.. thanks

You mean a 'pop' or 'thump' when going from play mode into standby? Or are you talking about something when coming out of standby?
If it's the pop then it's basically an arc across the switch contacts because you're switching DC. You can try the 0.1uF cap across the contacts trick but you're pretty much forced to switch DC on this because the caps are too big for the rectifier to handle the inrush current unless you don't bring them all up at once.

Going from the recto side of the stby switch to ground with the .1 will yeild better results. If that doesn't do it put a thermistor on it and it'll be dead quiet with no ill effects.
