What are your intentions for this amp, putting it back to stock and selling it?

Good question. First, no intention of selling it.

Second, get it back into as stock as reasonable condition, replacing the caps and, in general clean it up so that it will safely run and sound as original.

Third, depending on how things sound, possibly tweak things a little bit, but nothing that permanently alters the amp. So possibly change some cap or resistor values a little on some of the channels. As stock it's got 6 of the same channels. My thought was, if I could change a capacitor value a little, could I get a slightly different sound, but still in the Hiwatt family?

I'm still not sure how to do this, but I wondered about adding some sort of bias adjustment to the power tubes. I've got 2 open holes on either side of the EL34s I could use.

And a longer putt is if I could add a middle potentiometer control or not. Looking at the DR504 layouts, the middle potentiometer pretty cleanly connects to the bass and treble pots, but when I look at my PA50, the wiring on the bass and treble pots looks fairly different so I'm still not sure what I could do there.

Hope all that makes sense. Thanks for asking.
