looks like i'm the first one. I'm going with the second clip as being 183. the notes sing better.

One thing I can tell you is that
both clips were recorded with a Trex roomate , no adjustment was made for either , But for some reason the first clip comes across better showcasing the effect

Judging from just those 2 clips, I like #2 as well.

I want to add that regardless of results, making any assumptions/decisions/ideals when presented with such a low fi, compressed, and phase stricken clip is futile.

Wouldn't the quality of the recording not matter not so much, if at all, for purposes of a comparison - as long as both comparison clips are being recorded the same?
