That sounded really nice.
Nothing better than a strat through a nice clean amp.
I really enjoyed that.

Sounds great!

I'm working on getting a 100w (twin iron) clean only skyliner with buffered loop, Verb, non phase inverting tube boost, some what SSS/DL influenced that I hope to have done in the next few months with help/built by some forum members here. It kinda strikes me as weird that no one is really interested in an amp with this config as the clean side of most Dumble/clones amps sound fat/sweet/great and could be a very usefull platform. Kinda like a fender twin just mad tweaked etc.

I guess if there was more SSS info around folks might be more keen to an amp of this design.

really nice tone and playing. the v 30 sound very good in this configuration. what do you mean by hybrid HRM low plate for clean and hight plate for overdrive? or only the BM tone stack. do you have overdrive clip with the strat?
really good job

Hi Max,

I really liked your clip and as always, your playing is great. Thanks for posting.

Is this an evolution of the same amp you posted in July, or a new build altogether? If you have managed to get the cleans sounding this good and the lead channel sounding as good as you did in July, with the same amp, then you are on to a winner!

Congratulations.

Cheers,

Paul.

You mentioned that you have V1 and V3 selected.
- To clarify this, Do you have the OD engaged or are you running on the clean only?

Sounds great!

it's something more than overdrive, but you get the idea
Strat with singles, no humbuckers, I swear...this puppy has an insane amount of gain.

The "hybrid" part is the tone stack and the PI, Bluesmaster the first, Skyliner the second.

It's the same amp...but I'm not 100% satisfied...with some cabs, the sound is not..."right"...workin' on it.

oh yeah, V1 is selected to be optimal in this position, so low microphonics, high gain and so on...V3 has balanced halves.
The clip was recorded on the CLEAN channel, no PAB active...plain clean.
Highs at 13:30, mids at 11, bass at 9 (all clockwise), rock on, deep off, mid boost off. Input volume at 3 o'clock, bright pulled (little effect with the input volume so high but still subtle and audible)
