Hi ampcrack,

until know I've never seen or heard of a 2nd generation ODS that without doubt still was in its original condition with chickenhead knobs. Here are some pictures where you can see the typical 1st and 2nd generation knobs.

Cheers,

Max

AC, I have seen very similar knobs on used Oscilloscopes at ham fests. I don't have a particular source but you may find them on surplus radio websites. Here's a sample

Those knobs looks very close to the ones Laney used on their 'Super group' 60 and 100 amps from early 70s.

These are very similar to the 2nd generation knobs. Pricey though....

If you would like to buy in UE, check this out:

don't have any idea about shipping, you'll have to add 23% of Vat and divide by current PLN:Dollar ratio (nowdays something like 1$=2.8PLN).

Hi guys,

thanks for all your answers.

I'm not looking for the silver knobs...
But the CHICKEN HEAD KNOBS, like on the
1st generation amps. And they are different to the
ones on the late models or from the 4th generation on...
They're pretty similar to VOX knobs..

Anybody know where I can buy them?

These were a cheap and reasonable looking replacement for one of my latest builds:

Where in the CONUS can I find the round silver Dumble type knobs?

I have been using some that are much larger diameter.

It looks like the EURO company above get them from China market,
