Amazing that they mounted those 385mF power caps the same way I did!

Crazy as it seems, but Nik has been doing it that way for a while now.

I have not heard of any problems as of yet.

I didn't know that. I checked out his 183 a while back and it showed axial leads on those caps.
It's good to know he never had problems with mounting them that way.
Not that I thought I'd have any issues, they're mounted nice and sturdy.

I wonder what the 5 lug terminal strip is for on the right side wall?

He puts them there regardless if there is a filter cap on the strip or not.

Ah, that's right there is normally a 20uF cap there isn't there.

Ya some amps do it like that. The non presicion PSU ones, older one it seems...

Its not me, but "SPM" over on the gearpage.

He knows how to record great tones out of his amps.
