Here are some plots that compare the freqency response of the 183 tonestack with different options. In the sims, all of the pots are set to the midpoint of a linear pot. One plot is a comparison of different resistor values, 4.7M, 22M, and 44M and then PAB enabled. Another compares the response with a 4.7M resistor and all the combinations of PAB and midboost. I also included the schematic used for the simulations so that it is clear what has been simulated.
Hopefully, this helps with the understanding of what is happening in different modes and with different value resisitors.

183 is just a Skyline stack. So, these illustrations hold true for probabably a quarter of all Dumbles out there! Just saying as I don't want people to think there was anything unique in the 183 stack.
Pot value on a variable resistor is fung shai and not tone.
Good job though!

Thanks for doing all that work!
Always nice to see a graphical representation of amps we love.

Great job, although in real life I don't hear that degree of increase around 100hz when midboost is turned on (illustrated in your first set of plots), my ears hear the lower range of it kicking in closer to 300hz range. My ears have been known to be completely wrong though...

Talking stack here Duds.... Not the rest of the circuit. Same Skyline stack.
