Hey D side of the garage! Im finally getting to building my first D style amp.
Got hooked up with a great chassis from a buddy a few weeks ago, am now looking for iron. Was just looking at CED, they have a hammond twin replacement, 450ma, 320-0-320.
And a Tonemaster 100 watt OT with 2350 primary and 4-8-16 secs.
The choke they list for twins is 4H @ 90ma.
Ive had good results with the Hammond gear, well finished.
Know nothing about the Tonemasters tho.
CED's pricing is keen, cheaper than magnetic componants 240V PT's.
Will these do the trick ok?
Im still no closer to deciding which circuit im doing tho. I like the sound of the 3rd gen stuff that ive heard. Like a bit rawer bite than the jazzier tones im familiar with.

Re: Iron for D build
Yes Tom. Magnetics stuff is cheap for 120V, but jumps a lot to 240V
I can get Hammond here, but its much more expensive.
