The schematic called the "97 schematic", is that the same as this one:
http://ampgarage.com/forum/download/file.php?id=593
Does that schematic have the skyliner tone stack?
Do I have to use EL34 tubes, or could they be replaced with 6L6, as long as the bias supply and maybe grid resistors are changed to correct values?
Or should this amp have EL34 to sound good?
And finally: Is this the schem I want to follow if I want to have a try at the HRM/skyliner amp?

Yes it does have the skyline tone stack
you can use either 6l6 or el34s, they have different sounds
and yes it is one of the schematics for the HRM

Too bad the "97" schematic (as made popular on schematic heaven) is all wrong. Look in this site for the more correct verison.

Ok.. Is there a correct schematic around, or is it just postings with corrections?

I think HiGain posted some pretty good schematics in the file section.
